The band plays three distinct musical styles. The Klezmer “hora” or party style is typically played at weddings and other special occasions. The concert performance style is arranged for performance on the stage. The Jazz or “improvisational jam” style brings the band back to its roots, where both Klezmer and Jazz are played spontaneously and by ear. Jazz is almost always requested and is mixed into the repertoire in both venues. This new release primarily consists of concert performance style songs. It begins and ends, however, with tunes often requested at parties and private affairs where the purpose of the music is to create a festive atmosphere and the band is there to make the party and get everybody up and dancing."...brilliant, full of energy, enthusiasm, life, verve; virtuoso performances..." -- Iris Gillon Musicn Celebrations"The band has two of klezmers normal lead instruments, a violin and a clarinet - plus a piano - and it works. Actually, their drum/percussion and bass are featured on one of my favorite cuts, the dynamite Kandels Hora. Its fun, terrific music, with an improv feeling to it all. Id love to have this group play at my celebrations!" - Carol Greenspan, Host of Jewish Spectrum at KOPN radio.Brian Choper - drums/percussion Fred Jacobowitz - clarinet Rafael Javadov - violin Victor Prudovsky - piano Victor Dvoskin - bass Teymuraz Tsaguriya - vocals
