I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to be involved in many creative recording projects allowing me to explore different sides of my musical personality. Groups such as the Yellowjackets and artists like Pat Metheny have certainly opened my ears to the many possibilities of expanding on the acoustic, small-group framework associated with classic straight-ahead jazz. "Turnstyles" brilliantly captures these trends with tremendous musical diversity!
